On March 14, Doris Diel and Marie Glavin from North County, conducted a voter registration drive at Paso Robles High School. It was an exciting day with many students registering to vote. A number of the students were unaware they could pre-register to vote at 16 and 17 years of age. The enthusiasm of the students to participate in the democratic process, their knowledge of the issues, and their desire to be a positive change for the future was invigorating. Special thanks to the administration of Paso Robles High School for allowing NAACP members to come on its campus for this important and rewarding effort.
